Hannington Tame Wins Best Recruitment Marketing Campaign

We are pleased to announce that Hannington Tame picked up an award at this year’s Recruiter Awards for Excellence. Our #nextgreatleader social media search for the next CEO of Lyle & Scott, won Most Effective Recruitment Marketing Campaign.

The awards are widely known as the industry benchmark, celebrating the best in recruitment, both in-house and agency side. The ceremony at London’s Grosvenor hotel saw 1,300 people in attendance, competing for just 29 awards.

The competition was fierce in our category, with some great recruitment campaigns from the likes of Barclays, Land Rover Jaguar and Santander.

Our social CEO search launched in September last year, and quickly went viral, reaching almost 1 million tweeters in over 30 countries. It resulted in the successful appointment of Philip Oldham, as Lyle & Scott’s new CEO.

It was the first time anyone had attempted to recruit such a high level position using social media, and is testament to the impact that social media is having even at board level.
