Ecommerce News Roundup | 10 May 2023

Lots of good news this week as Q1 reports come in and the general macro-economic picture starts to look rosier.  This morning there is news in that Sainsbury's has started to cut prices for own-brand bread and butter so maybe inflation is beginning to ease off.  The service sector Purchasing Manager's Index (PMI) is at 55 indicating the highest level of confidence in this crucial part of the UK economy.

Abroad, the US has lowest unemployment since 1969 and similar news comes from the EU.
